Wile E. Coyote is a cartoon character from the Looney Tunes cartoons, who spends most shorts risking his life trying to catch the Road Runner, mostly failing to do so.

He and the Road Runner appear at the end of Who Framed Roger Rabbit with a host of other Looney Tunes and non-Warner Bros. cartoon stars.
